"Ever wondered ‘why’ you should learn how to swing a kettlebell? The answer is simple – it will make you stronger….stronger in your legs, your back, and your shoulders! As a Grandmother of 6, I want to spend my time playing WITH them on the floor; building forts, sleeping in tents, crawling on my knees – doing all of the things THEY enjoy. But, as I got older, it became harder, more painful, and less enjoyable. A few years ago, I began kettlebell training with Stacie and quickly found that by mastering the kettlebell swing, I could easily accomplish all of my playtime goals! Including carrying my 25 lb Grandson on my shoulders….and yes, this included lifting him up and getting him down from my shoulders, on my own. Once you learn the swing, you can do it anywhere! In the gym, at home, even at your grandkids house! Also, learning the kettlebell swing has improved my confidence and ability to lift heavy in the gym. Both my deadlift and back squat lifts are at all time highs! This is due to having a stronger core from training with the kettlebell. As I grow older and see others my age struggle with bone and back health, I so appreciate training with Stacie who fully understands, explains and demonstrates the value of training with kettlebells! Training at BeStrong Training has been a great experience all around. I began the 12 week program with my amazing trainer Lugene and after only 6 weeks, I lost 4% body fat! My strength and endurance have also increased dramatically. She is so knowledgeable, encouraging and fun to work with. And the results have been incredible!
